White House Does Not Condemn Netanyahu's Pledge to Annex Jordan Valley

The White House did not condemn Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Tuesday pledge to annex the Jordan Valley, but said it did not affect U.S. policy.

An anonymous White House official said, "There is no change in the United States policy at this time."

"We will release our Vision for Peace after the Israeli election and work to determine the best path forward to bring long-sought security, opportunity, and stability to the region," the official added.

The Jerusalem Post reports that the Trump administration was informed of Netanyahu's announcement beforehand.
