Teenage Girl Killed in West Bank Terror Attack

A teenage girl was murdered and two other critically wounded in a terror attack in the West Bank on Friday.

The Times of Israel reports that Rina Shnerb, 17, was pronounced dead after the detonation of an improvised explosive device.

Her father and brother were badly wounded in the explosion and have been airlifted to Jerusalem for treatment.

Israel Defense Forces Spokesperson Ronen Manelis called the incident a "serious terror attack."

A manhunt is underway in the area and a car that fled the scene after the explosion is reportedly being investigated.

“This mission is being led on several fronts -- the first is the intelligence front with other intelligence services, the second front is the manhunt in the field with roadblocks. ... The third front is the regular security effort to prevent similar events,” Manelis said.
