Syrian Drone Shot Down Over Galilee

A Syrian drone was shot down over Israel Wednesday.

According to the Times of Israel, the IDF stated, "Using a Patriot battery, the IDF intercepted an unmanned aerial vehicle that infiltrated from Syria into Israeli territory."

The craft apparently disintegrated after being struck and the remains fell in the Sea of Galilee.

The drone was apparently flown from Syria into Jordan, where it entered Israeli airspace.

It succeeded in reaching 10 kilometers inside Israel before being shot down.
