House Overwhelmingly Approves Iron Dome Funding in Massive Blow to Israel-Hating 'Progressives'

The House of Representatives overwhelmingly approved continued funding for Israel’s Iron Dome defense system in a major blow to antisemitic leftist Democrats who attempted to block it.

The $1 billion for Iron Dome had been stricken from a larger spending bill due to pressure from antisemitic members led by the “Squad” of so-called “progressive” lawmakers, including open racists Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib, forcing the pro-Israel majority to advance a stand-alone bill on the issue.

The bill ultimately passed by a 420-9 majority, with even the Israel-hating congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez failing to vote against it, voting “present” instead.

In response, Tlaib went on a seething rant, accusing Israel of “apartheid” to no avail.

The Jerusalem Post reports Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett thanked the majority for their “overwhelming support of Israel and commitment to its security.”

“Whoever tries to challenge that support got their answer today,” he said. “The people of Israel thank the American people and their representatives for their strong friendship.”

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said, “Passage of this bill reflects a great unity in Congress on a bipartisan and bicameral basis for Israel’s security. Assistance to Israel is vital because Israel’s security is imperative for America’s security.”

Israel’s Foreign Minister Yair Lapid commented that the vote was “further proof that with precise diplomatic work, we can bring results, even quickly.”
