'Change Government' to Be Sworn in on Sunday

Israel’s new “change government” is set to be sworn in on Sunday, with a Knesset confidence vote likely just before.

YNet reports that the news was announced by Knesset Speaker Yariv Levin on Tuesday.

Opposition leader Yair Lapid, who will be foreign minister in the new government, tweeted, “This is happening!"

"Thank you to Knesset Speaker Yariv Levin for setting the date of the inauguration for Sunday,” he added.

"The unity government is going ahead to benefit the citizens of the State of Israel," Lapid said.
