New Stats: World Jewish Population Almost at Pre-Holocaust Levels

The world Jewish population is finally about to reach pre-Holocaust levels, the Times of Israel reports.

Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics reported on Sunday, just before Holocaust Remembrance Day, that there are 14.7 million Jews in the world today.

This is very nearly the 14.8 million world Jewish population in 1925.

The numbers are almost evenly divided between the US and Israel, with 6.7 million Jews and 5.7 million respectively.
