Israelis Sour on Trump?

Poll shows 20 point drop in president's popularity in Israel

President Trump's popularity rating in Israel has dropped by 20 points.

According to the Jerusalem Post, 56 percent of Israelis see Trump as pro-Israel. While this is a majority, it is down from 79 percent at the time of Trump's election.

However, this drop did not come about because of a belief that Trump is anti-Israel. Instead, the number of Israelis who say they do not know where he stands or that Trump is neutral on the issue has grown.

Unsurprisingly, these numbers are strongly influenced by political ideology. Israelis on the Right are far more likely to view Trump favorably, while those on the Left and Center are more skeptical.
