President Biden already hinted that an upcoming Middle East trip may see some major changes in US-Saudi relations.

It is expected that Saudi Arabia and Israel will upgrade relations in some meaningful way, for the following four reasons:

Hints that Saudi's leader in waiting, Mohammed Bin Salman, wants full relations with Israel

Social media posts expressing support for Israeli-Saudi peace

The military threat from Iran, which both countries feel acutely

A desire to trade and share technology freely

One analyst, however, cautions that full peace between the two former enemies will not come until Saud's present ruler, King Salman, dies.
