Will Israel Build Trump's Wall?

Israeli company Elta may end up helping to construct President Donald Trump's wall on the Mexican border.

According to YNet, the company is on the "short list" of companies competing to build the barrier, which was one of Trump's principal campaign promises.

YNet calls the project "one of the world's largest security infrastructure undertakings, with its cost to run anywhere from 15 to 25 billion dollars."

Elta is in the running because it specializes in radar and other detection methods that the U.S. wishes to employ in order to build a "smart wall" that can detect people and vehicles by electronic means.

Trump has cited Israel's security barrier with the West Bank as an example of how a border wall can be highly successful at preventing infiltration.
