Pro-Iran Rioters Attack U.S. Embassy in Iraq

Supporters of an Iran-controlled Iraqi terrorist group attacked the U.S. embassy compound in Baghdad on Tuesday.

The Associated Press reports that dozens of supporters of Kataeb Hezbollah, which was struck in a U.S. airstrike on Sunday after the group killed a U.S. contractor, smashed through the embassy gate and entered the grounds.

U.S. forces used tear gas and had their weapons at the ready, but apparently did not use live fire.

The terror-supporters hung a wall poster saying, “America is an aggressor.” Hundreds of them erected tents outside the embassy and set fire to trailers on the street outside the building.
