Israel Set to Exit Second Lockdown

Israel is set to end its second lockdown.

The Jerusalem Post reports that coronavirus czar Roni Gamzu told IDF Radio that the goal for reducing the infection rate has been met.

At the moment, the number of daily infections stands at below 2,000, which was the number set by the government to begin ending the lockdown.

Gamzu said he will recommend a graduated end to the lockdown on Thursday during a meeting of the coronavirus cabinet.
