Jewish Republicans Launch ‘Shanda’ Campaign Against Dems

A major Republican Jewish group is launching an ad campaign referring to Democratic presidential candidates as a “Shanda.”

The Jerusalem Post reports that the Republican Jewish Coalition is spending $10 million on the campaign, which consists of online ads criticizing the Democratic candidates’ willingness to reduce aid to Israel.

“The radical Left has taken the reins of the Democratic Party, and their policy proposals will devastate our national security, our alliance with Israel, our economy, and our health care system,” said RJC executive director Matt Brooks.

The ads accuse top Democrats, including Nancy Pelosi and Chick Schumer, of “turning their back” on Israel.

“Front-running Democrats are campaigning on cutting critical aid to the world’s only Jewish state,” say the ads.
