Terror Strikes Paris Again

One dead, two wounded as Muslim terrorist

opens fire in Paris on eve of presidential election

A Muslim terrorist opened fire on one of Paris' most fashionable and popular areas, killing a policeman and wounding two others.

The attack on the Champs Elysee section of Paris prompted a massive police response and the terrorist was quickly neutralized.

ISIS quickly claimed responsibility for the attack, saying in a statement that the terrorist, who was shot dead at the scene, was one of its operatives.

“The perpetrator of the attack in Champs-Elysees in central Paris is Abu Yussef the Belgian and he is one of the Islamic State’s fighters,” the terrorist group stated.

The attack comes at an extremely sensitive time, as France is set to vote in the first round of presidential elections this weekend.

Reacting to the incident, President Donald Trump stated,

It is a very, very terrible thing that’s going on in the world today, but it looks like another terrorist attack. What can you say? It just never ends. We have to be strong and we have to be vigilant and I have been saying it for a long time.
