Disabled Man Blocks London Anti-Israel March

In an act of extraordinary courage, a disabled man blocked the pro-Hezbollah Quds Day march in London with his own body.

Mark Lewis, who has multiple sclerosis, positioned himself in front of the marchers and refused to be moved.

"It wasn’t just me," he said. "My other half Mandy Blumenthal stayed with me. I knew that I couldn’t stand up and be counted but I could sit down."

"These people were supporting terrorists," he continued. "We had to object and not give them a free pass. These are our streets. The Government were allowing them a free rein, we had to stop them. I thought I’d challenge the Police to see if they had a legal basis to stop me exercising my freedom to protest. They said they had an order blocking the street. I asked to see it. They looked flummoxed."

The Quds march is an annual event in which Muslim racists and their fellow travelers observe the Iranian-founded day that advocates the destruction of Israel.

The marchers fly Hezbollah flags, chant antisemitic slogans, and carry anti-Israel placards.

A large counter-demonstration was held by Jewish groups featuring speakers, Israeli music, and this time a man whose handicap did not stop him from protesting the platform given to genocidal racists in the streets of London.
