Bibi Pushing for Trump Meet Just Before Elections

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is pushing for a meeting with President Donald Trump in March, shortly before the Israeli elections set for April 19.

According to the Times of Israel, the meeting would take place while Netanyahu is in Washington for AIPAC's annual policy conference, one of the largest pro-Israel events in the U.S.

"The prime minister regularly speaks at the annual AIPAC conference and the plan is that he will travel to Washington this year too, despite the proximity to the elections," said an anonymous source.
