BBC Covers Up Palestinian Antisemitism

The BBC is under heavy criticism for mistranslating the Arabic word for "Jew" as "Israeli" in a documentary on Gaza, thus covering up Palestinian antisemitism.

One interviewee in the film says, "The revolutionary songs, they excite you, they encourage you to rip a Jew’s head off."

The BBC translated the Arabic word "yahud" as "Israeli," which is both incorrect and conceals the interviewees murderous antisemitism.

There were several other points in the documentary in which the BBC used the same mistranslation.

Holocaust historian Deborah Lipstadt tweeted, "The BBC engages in antisemitism denial. Yet another blatant example of the failure to take the scourge of antisemitism seriously."
