ADL: One in Four American Jews Has Experienced Antisemitism Since 2016


The shocking survey from the ADL also finds that 63 percent of American Jews "had either witnessed or experienced anti-Semitism in the years since 2016" according to JTA. Further, 9 percent of American Jews said they had personally been targeted in an antisemitic attack. Some 59 percent of respondents said Jews are less safe in the United States than they were a decade ago.

The numbers are a large increase from last year, when 54 percent of US Jews reported experiencing antisemitism.

The annual report surveyed 503 Jewish Americans and has an error rate of 4.4 percent.
